After graduating from Boston University in 1995, Eric (a Westchester native) defiantly declared that he wanted to “design websites for the World Wide Web”. He packed up his car and drove to Ann Arbor Michigan where he became the creative lead for an interactive startup in return for stock options and a warm pillow under his desk.
After a year of living out of his car he traded in his dreams of glory for a paying job and moved back to New York where he joined the first interactive department at MVBMS EURO RSCG. Armed with a strong work ethic (and his pillow from Michigan) he quickly rose through the ranks, pushing the limits of creative and technology to bring brands like Universal Studios, Volvo, Nasdaq and MCI online for the very first time. After 4 years of creating work that helped define some of the industry’s best practices, he decided to give the startup world another try and started CLS with his current partners.
This time, the initiative paid off and for the last 14 years Eric has led our creative team; racking up over 15 international advertising awards in the process.
Eric lives with his wife and two boys in Putnam Valley, New York, where the fresh, open air provides a welcome contrast to the busy Manhattan work week.
